The marking methodology for the subject is contained in the answer key, which is also where each answer is specifically marked. According to this system of scoring, the CBSE looks over the students’ answer sheets. The marking scheme specifies how the overall weight of the marks for the board exam will be distributed. The scoring structure is an organised division of points into Units or Chapters. The types of questions that will be asked from each unit or chapter are described, along with the number of points they will be worth.
Going through them will give students an idea of which units will be asked for how many marks in the board exam. Knowing this allows students to more effectively plan their studies and prepare for the 12th board exam.
